Gardenia White & Gold

DESCRIPTION:

FEATURES 

A beautiful Gardenia White -Gold is bushy & evergreen, producing large & abundant highly scented double white flowers. These flowers then age to a rich golden yellow giving a striking two tone appearance against the large, deep green foliage, throughout spring & summer. 
Tough & hardy in full sun or part shade. Excellent ad low hedge, border or ground cover. Ideal for display tubs, mass planting or accent planting. Drought tolerant once established. 

PREPARATION

Gardenias prefer slightly acid soils, but are tolerant of most soil types, provided there is good drainage. 
For areas with poor, or clay soils, it is advisable to build up the soil with decomposed organic matter. 
 
CARE 

After planting, mulch well & water regularly until established. Feed with complete fertilizer in spring & summer. Lightly prune after flowering for shape, if required. Heat & frost tolerant, but may require protection in extreme situations.
