Carissa Desert Star

Carissa “Desert Star “ is an attractive, compact evergreen shrub with rich, shiny green foliage. 
“Desert Star “ produces large, white , sweetly scented star shaped flowers throughout the warmer months of the year .  
USES: Ideal as a low growing hedge, rockery or feature plant . Can also be grown in containers for patio or courtyard areas. Will tolerate coastal exposure once established.  
POSITION: Prefers a full sun to partly shaded position in rich, well drained soil. Grows successfully from temperate to tropical regions. 
CARE: Fertilizer regularly using a slow release fertilizer , keep moist during warmer weather. 
Tip prune to shape if necessary. Use premium potting mix if planting in containers.
